In September 2024, we were delighted to welcome the scholars from each of the five of the different European Amgen Scholars Programme institutions - participants from the LMU, ETH Zurich, Institut Pasteur, Karolinska Institutet and University of Cambridge programmes gathered at Clare College for the annual European Symposium.
Across the programme, scholars took part in workshops and social activities, including punting on the River Cam, and a formal dinner in the Clare College's Great Hall. They heard talks from industry representatives as well as leading Cambridge academics.
Each programme presented their project findings during dedicated sessions throughout the schedule. The scholars deemed to have produced the best posters per institution were celebrated in a ceremony at the end of the programme - the winners are listed below.
