Accommodation
All Amgen Scholars will be housed in a Cambridge college, free of charge.
Financial award
Amgen Scholars at the University of Cambridge will receive a stipend in line with the national minimum wage requirements.
Laboratory expenses
Your research lab will be allocated £500 to contribute to laboratory expenses.
Travel
Scholars not normally resident in Cambridge will be able to claim up to £250 towards the cost of travel from their home to Cambridge. Receipts and reimbursement claim forms will need to be provided.
Visa
We will reimburse the cost of a visa for scholars who need one to join the programme [Temporary Worker - Government Authorised Exchange visa (T5)]. Please note the reimbursement will cover the cost of the standard application, not priority service.
