Amgen Scholars Programme

Applications for the 2023 Cambridge Amgen Scholars Programme are now closed.

The Amgen Scholars Programme is made possible through a 16-year, $74 million commitment from the Amgen Foundation. Amgen Scholars allows undergraduates from across the globe to participate in cutting-edge research opportunities at world-class institutions.

The Cambridge Amgen Scholars in 2023 will run from Monday 10th July until Friday 1st September. Scholars will live and work in Cambridge for these 8 weeks, working on a paid lab-based research internship. The programme culminates in a 3-day symposium in September, attended by scholars from the five European Amgen Programmes.

Please see 'About the Amgen Scholars Programme' for more information.

Amgen Scholars Programme

The University of Cambridge is delighted to continue to participate in the Amgen Scholars Programme and to welcome scholars from universities across Europe.

Amgen Scholars at the University of Cambridge will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced faculty members, including some of the world's top academic scientists. They will gain hands-on laboratory experience, and actively contribute to the advancement of science. We hope that the experience of undertaking research in one of the world's foremost Universities will enthuse our Scholars about a career in scientific research.

We would like to acknowledge the support of the Amgen Foundation.
